Why True Sport: I believe that being a coach is a privilege and that my purpose as a coach or parent in sport is to help all children become the best possible version of themselves. I aim to use sport, based on a core set of ethical and moral values, to achieve this challenge. I see youth participants as people first and athletes second, and view sport as a key tool to support their development. I believe that all children and youth should have the opportunity to participate in a safe and inclusive sport environment, where ”sport for all” is achieved. We all have a role to play in preventing situations of abuse in sport. Being a True Sport Champion will encourage me to strive to achieve quality sport for all.
