Residence: Winnipeg, MB
Champion since: 2015
Occupation: Professor and Athletic Therapist at The University of Winnipeg and Past President of the World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy
Current involvement in sport: I teach in our Athletic Therapy program at the University of Winnipeg and work as an Athletic Therapist in the U of W Athletic Therapy Clinic, which includes working with our Wesmen Athletes. I am also the President of the World Athletic Training and Therapy Federation whose mandate is to promote best practices for the care of our athletes. I am also a member of the Manitoba Adult Concussion Network which seeks to promote evidence-based care of sport related concussions.
Why True Sport? As an athletic therapist, I have experienced the good and bad of sport. I have made it my mission to advance the positive attributes of sport and work to discourage behaviour that detracts from the values and principles of True Sport.
