- The 10th annual ACTIVATE National Youth Leadership Conference , hosted by Motivate Canada, integrated True Sport values and principles throughout their program. Thirty young leaders from across Canada shared ideas about how to “activate” values-based sport in their communities and affect positive change.

- Hockey Night in Canada’s Play On! attracted 40,000 participants. This True Sport Event holds the record for “The World’s Largest Street Hockey Tournament.”

- True Sport Clean 101 , an e-learning program, was provided to over 39,000 Canadian athletes to educate them on their anti-doping roles and responsibilities and the importance of values-based sport.

- The Banff Community Foundation hosted community consultations focused on fostering good sport in Banff. The community is now collectively leading the establishment of a Bow Valley True Sport and Recreation Council with support from Smart & Caring True Sport .

- The City of Vancouver Recreation Services Department continued to roll out their True Sport Engagement implementation plan, led by True Sport Champion Cindy Crapper. Every city-operated facility will have banners, posters, teaching tools, equipment, programming and communications featuring True Sport branding and messaging.

- The Minto Recreation Complex in Barrhaven, Ontario, became the first facility to embrace True Sport before its official opening. The new facility features a True Sport logo on the gymnasium floor and in the ice pad. The True Sport Principles have also been embedded in the day-to-day programming and activities.

- Bobsleigh CANADA Skeleton launched a custom made skeleton helmet contest called #makeyourmark. It was promoted in schools as part of a True Sport lesson plan designed to highlight how Bobsleigh CANADA Skeleton is bringing True Sport to life.

- Olympian and True Sport Champion Cody Sorensen participated in the Bridlewood Community Association’s annual True Sport Day. Cody has been busy “giving-back” at events such as this since his return from the Sochi Olympic Games.

- The North Vancouver Sport Council hosted its 2014 Sport Summit at Capilano University. The True Sport-themed event saw the 60 participants and all of their sport affiliated organizations come to a consensus around intentionally activating True Sport.

- True Sport Champions Michael Carter, Tyler Power and Brady Turner continued to create access to good sport opportunities for youth in Newfoundland and Labrador through their non-profit organization, Hustle NL . They created, along with the local school board, a True Sport Award to be handed out annually at the athletic banquet.

- Cross Country Ski Canada continued to be an exemplary model of True Sport engagement at the national level. Six of their 10 divisions have declared; their objective is to achieve 100% declarations in 2015. Their engagement strategy will be developed into a resource for other National Sport Organizations (NSO).
